Salary:
Up to £30k + 26 days of annual leave + Benefits
Responsibilities
As a Finance Assistant you will work closely with contract teams to accurately capture costs, aid, procurement and prepare monthly management accounts and information to support decision making, process improvement and drive contract efficiencies.
Your day to day will include:
- Supporting the contract management team in driving contract efficiencies
- Maintain accurate cost capture to aid financial reporting and support business decision making
- Ensuring appropriate systems of internal control are maintained and development of and adherence to company procedures
- Raising purchase orders, entering goods receipts, monitoring registered invoice control and resolving invoice queries
- Distributing cost and workflow reports and working with contract teams to ensure processes are adhered to such that these reports are a true reflection of current performance
What are we looking for?
This role of Finance Assistant is great for you if:
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel and Computerised Accounting Systems, Causeway
- Excellent communicator both verbal and written and a willing contributor within meetings
- Ability to work to tight deadlines, with accurate outputs and demonstrate analytical, creative and proactive thinking as well as problem solving
