Please note the hours for this role are as follows;

Mon-Thurs 07:00-16:00 - Friday 07:00-14:15 (Office based)
Salary up to £30,000 (depending on experience)

TLP are delighted to be looking after this exciting opportunity for a
Document Controller, working for our client, a quality driven, progressive company, operating within the construction sector.

The Opportunity

As
Document Controller you will share your knowledge and contribute to improving the system and process for document control across the whole company.

You will also be involved in managing the company Job costing, time tracking and computer management systems. These will be integral in helping the company achieve ISO 9001 Quality management certification.

Key responsibilities:

Compliance of accurate Health & Safety and Quality Assurance documentation and record keeping.
Control large number of documents received daily, ensuring that all drawings are administered and distributed promptly.
Create an accurate, efficient, and userfriendly filing system ensuring that documents are flawlessly tracked, and status reported.
Assist the site project teams in site set up and inductions.
Establish strong relationships with the Design team, Construction Managers, and other company stakeholders in order to ensure smooth running of the Company computer programs and systems.
Assist accounts department, uploading and entering supplier invoices to job costing system.

Person specification:

Previous experience of document control is a
must ideally gained within the construction industry.
Confidence to interact with external suppliers and customers.
Strong IT skills in MS office (Word, excel, outlook)
Strong attention to detail
Ability to multitask
Highly organised
Excellent communication skills
Proven planning and process management skills
