Technical Project Manager - GU2 7LX

Surrey & Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust - Based in Guildford
Role includes travel across various sites in Surrey and surrounding areas.


Band 7 - £25.60 per hour plus accrued holiday pay

37.5hr per week - Monday to Friday

Band 7 position paying
£25.60 per hour with enhanced rates for weekends and bank holidays.

The Role

  • To develop Technical and Engineering briefs and turn into specifications/scope of works and gather and review quotations for completeness and value for money.
  • Take charge and manage all stages of Project delivery either Directly or via a consultant.
  • Support the Trust procurement process and dealing with suppliers and contractors to obtain prices.
  • Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications
  • Act as Client and or Principal Designer as appropriate under CDM 2015 regulations.
  • Undertake site management and customer liaison activities during delivery of the project.
  • Undertake review of RAMS.
  • Provide regular reports on project status associated stakeholders.

Experience and Skills required for the role

  • A minimum of 3 years post training experience in a Project Engineering role preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Minimum ONC in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Great understanding of CAD software and technical drawings/specifications.
  • IOSH Managing Safely or similar.
  • A full UK Driving Licence and access to transport. (Expenses paid)
  • A working understanding and practice of engineering compliance.
  • Excellent decision making and time management skills.
  • A good eye for detail & effective communicator
