We are recruiting for a
Senior Environmental Advisor to join our SHE teams working on our Severn Trent and Thames Water Frameworks.


About the Role
To support the Contract Environmental Solutions function and enable our operational teams to implement the SHE Management System


Key Responsibilities
Support and Influence the contract leadership team, clients, and other stakeholders in compliance with the SHE Management System and contract environmental performance
Support and where required deliver training, to allow the contract team to successfully implement the SHE Management System
Coach and support the contract operational teams and supply chain contractors in the delivery of the contract environmental requirements
Actively support the delivery of the annual contract and group SHE objectives
Actively engage with the contract environmental assurance programme to ensure compliance with company and statutory requirements
Actively support the investigation of all unplanned events and close out of assurance findings, ensuring lessons are shared in accordance with the SHE Management System
Support the timely reporting, analysis, and use of environmental data
Build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders, whilst providing an independent and objective view of SHE Performance on the contract


About You
Environmental degree or equivalent
Significant environmental experience in a relevant industry
PIEMA or equivalent (working towards MIEMA / CEnv)
Good influencer / able to challenge the status quo
Able to adapt communication style to suit audience
Uses different methodologies to analyse data
Able to plan and prioritise work
