Job title:
Senior Project Professional - Site & Facilities


Location:
Barrow-in-Furness, we offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements


Salary:
From £37,789+


What you'll be doing:


  • You'll provide Project Management service across the Site and Facilities maintenance activities
  • You'll carry out projects to support their effective delivery
  • You'll produce scope of works and tender documentation
  • You'll facilitate design reviews, aspect and impact assessments throughout the duration of projects
  • You'll support resolution of problems
  • You'll review risk assessments and method statements
  • You'll control, monitor and manage projects through site implementation phase, including cost and schedule
  • You'll develop and maintain good communications and relationships

Your skills and experiences:


  • Experience in a Project Management role
  • Background in Construction and/or Mechanical Engineering
  • Understanding of Health & Safety / Construction Design Management (CDM) regulations
  • Experience working on complex projects
  • Experience in Site or Facilities Maintenance

Desirable:

  • Health & Safety qualifications (e.g. NEBOSH and IOSH)
  • Familiar with Computer Aided Design Packages (CAD)
  • Knowledge of MS Project

You'll be joining a team of 10 and will get exposure to other areas of BAE Systems. You will interact with stakeholders at all levels, as well as regular contact with external stakeholders and contractors.
