Goods In/Inspector


Based close to M1 J33, the team designs, machines, assembles, tests and QA all products onsite at the Advanced Manufacturing Park - the national hub of engineering expertise.


We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual who has a strong desire to learn and grow within our business.

You'll have worked in a similar (manufacturing/engineering) environment (with valves or similar critical components) potentially within a Final Inspection or Goods In related capacity.


You will be responsible for effectively checking our manufactured products to ensure they are stored and leave us with the required highest quality standards.


Duties and responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Take responsibility for the final inspection of our outgoing products, and that they have full traceability and with no defects or damage
  • Using a range of manual measuring equipment ie, micrometers, verniers, thread gauges
  • Completing computerised customer inspection reports
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy workspace
  • To uphold the company's Health and Safety, Environmental & Quality policies including all elements of the employee handbook.
  • Previous experience specifically from a Goods In or Final Inspection related capacity from a fastpaced precision engineering/manufacturing environment
  • Licensed user of overhead cranes and lifting equipment (beneficial training can be provided)
  • Excellent, concise attention to detail with a strong work ethic and 'will do' attitude
  • Will follow management directions to achieve results
  • Excellent planning, organisation & communication skills
  • Enthusiasm and desire to learn
  • PC literate

Hours of work:

Monday-Thursday 07:00-16:00, Friday 07:00-12:00 (39 hours per week)
