Overview / Responsibilities:
Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior F&A Coordinator to work in our Aberdeen office. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within our finance team on a global basis. The role offers hybrid working and the opportunity to grow and develop your career at Wood.


The role is responsible for facilitating and executing the closure of legal entities and branches through the legal entity rationalisation project.

The project focuses on reducing the number of legal entities in the business, both in terms of those entities which do not trade and can be liquidated, and through eliminating trading entities which have been integrated via the Enterprise programme.


Responsibilities

  • Work with the business and relevant advisors to develop a plan for closure
  • Working with other members of the team to understand the steps required and supporting the business to action these steps wherever possible
  • Supporting project management of entity closure by driving, chasing and assisting the business
  • Arrange, attend and chair regular meetings with business finance teams, tax, legal and external advisors
  • Manage engagement with relevant advisors to drive and ensure actions taken for closure
  • Consult with external providers to ensure costs are kept to a minimum by effectively managing communications and negotiating fees
  • Assist the business, mainly Group legal, and advisors in the completion and circulation of required documentation
  • Maintain key shared files with updates
  • Support monthly reporting requirements
  • Report progress on a regular basis
  • Provide wider support to the Legal Entity Rationalisation team

Good experience in an administrative role


Knowledge, skills and experience:


  • Competent in Microsoft Office and wider IT software
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Attention to detail
