A well-known brand is looking to recruit a buyer into their procurement teamDay to day duties include:
- Supporting Procurement operations for internal clients, covering a range of purchasing categories and ensuring best value is achieved.
- Establish contracts that will allow the acquisition of equipment, works and/or services within the technical purchasing division (infrastructure, operations, facilities and work train)
- Source and draft the "bidders list": before the launch of a consultation, ensuring the list of service providers are compliant
- Prepare consultation files: draft contract, price schedule, technical specification, and associated documents.
- Conduct analysis of commercial offers: drafting of the "Commercial Bid Tabulation (CBT)"
- Organise meetings and supports the client requesting the services, to "challenge" the suppliers' offers
- Conduct the final negotiation and drafting of the CBT
- Monitor supplier performance: maintain support for the project manager or contract manager, evaluating
Requirement:
- Fluent in English (spoken and written). French would be an advantage.
- The ideal person will have a circa 3 years' experience as a buy, ideally in a technical or projectbased role
- Experience using SAP or a similar system
- Advanced Excel
