LMA is a family owned aerosol and liquid manufacturer based in Pocklington.

Due to internal career progression we're now looking to recruit a full time Quality Controller who can work with our Quality Manager and Technical staff to ensure the products we manufacture are up to the right standards.

Key aspects of the role include:

Regular checking of production throughout run times, to ensure products meet specification and to identify any errors/issues.
Checking of products manufactured through various testing methods including weight checking, water bath testing and product specific tests such as glue adhesion and paint spray quality.
Checking of raw chemicals when delivered by suppliers to ensure they are not contaminated with water.
Recording chemicals used in batches of products for traceability.
Checking the quality of prints and labels which are applied at LMA to ensure they are of the right quality.
Checking specifications of new products to ensure the right information has been included, and all relevant details are recorded on the paperwork.
Assisting on rework of products when there are issues which need resolving for customers.

There are many other aspects included in the job, however this gives a brief overview, full training will be provided by the Quality Manager and Lab Technicians.

Applicants must have a good understanding of the English language and be able to read, write and communicate well. A basic understanding of maths is essential, as is an ability to use computers. Reliability and timeliness are basic elements that LMA expects all of its staff to pride themselves on.

Salary:
£23,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
