The role...

Senior Occupational Health Adviser

Salary:
£42,503 - £46,549
(Plus market Supplement of £3400)
***You will have significant autonomy to self-manage your own workload with the ability to working flexibly from home as well as on campus in the Lodge at the County Hall offices in Northallerton. A critical element to the role is the effective liaison with multidisciplinary teams internally and externally taking a lead in delivering occupational health and wellbeing programmes to achieve service delivery objectives.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver first class support to colleagues and clients with regards to all things health and wellbeing related
  • Be the central point of contact for the effective liaison with experts and Occupational Health Physicians on health and wellbeing referrals and ill health retirements and case escalation
  • Lead in the development of clinical standards ensuring these are set, embedded and support and monitor the implementation of clinical standards and oversee the efficient and timely implementation of all OH processes
  • Undertake clinical audit as appropriate in line with SEQOHS accreditation standards, working closely with Data Governance lead in the implementation of audit policy in accordance with legislation and ethical standards
  • Maintain professional competences and perform the role of OH advisor when clinic capacity demands dictate
