Description

Job Purpose
Responsible for the cash and banking reconciliations for approximately 120 surgeries.

To ensure that the banking at the Vet practices is accurate and complete.

To provide a high level of service and support for our Partners and surgery colleagues.


Key Responsibilities

  • To develop a professional relationship with allocated surgeries to build respect and credibility of the cash and banking service.
  • Responsible for collating all banking sheets from the surgeries on a weekly basis.
  • Ensure all banking sheets are checked to confirm they are correct and to support the surgeries in resolving any errors.
  • Ensure all the takings are posted onto the Open Accounts system within 3 working days.
  • Responsible for reconciling the takings, checking takings correct against surgery expectations within set timescales.
  • To work with the surgeries to resolve any banking errors or queries.
  • Handling day to day queries with the surgeries.
  • To support the Cash and Banking team with any other requirements.

Tasks to include but not limited to:

  • Creating Weekly Analysis Report
  • Saving Banking Sheets
  • Running Macro's through banking sheets
  • Resolving banking sheet discrepancies
  • Posting takings journals
  • Setting up takings reconciliations
  • Running GL Transaction and Balances reports
  • Profit Protection
  • Takings Reconciliations
  • Running Direct Credit rename macro
  • Reconciliation clean ups
  • Writing and updating process notes and training documents

About You

  • Experience of working within an accounts environment is advantageous although not essential.
  • AAT would be preferred (part or qualified)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
