Salary:
£10.00 per hour

Hours: 12-18

  • Monday's 14:00pm 20:00pm
  • Tuesday's 8:00am 14:00pm
  • Every other Thursday 8:00am 14:00pm
An reception based role dealing with day to day private medical services. You will have a patient facing role helping patients through our services. You will be supported by the practice manager in carrying out all your duties.

This role would suit a friendly approachable person with flexibility to working hours. Previous admin/reception experience essential.


Job Purpose:


Reception are required to promote the clinics values as a crucial first point of contact to patients and potential patients, the public.

They are to provide reception administrative and clerical support to all practitioners, as well as provide support to the Practice Manager for other clinic needs, such as supplies or reporting.


Job Purpose:
Main Responsibilities

  • Supporting all practitioners in fulfilling their roles, ensuring rooms, clinical supplies and equipment is ready and in good working order.
  • Receiving, writing and filing appropriately all correspondence to/from Practitioners & Patients, including telephone and online.
  • Presenting a positive image of the clinic to patients, prospective patients and others in line with TPC values.
  • Working closely within the team of Administrators to ensure that the reception/administrative/clerical functions work seamlessly.
  • Ensuring records are kept up to date and in line with all confidentiality policies both TPC and external.
Specific Roles & Tasks

  • Maintain Private Practice Software with all relevant information on patients, payments, invoices, charges, stock and various other reporting.
  • Answer, screen, direct and deal with all telephone calls.
  • Make patient telephone follow up calls or appointment bookings.
  • Provide information as requested to callers.
  • Greet appropriately all persons entering the clinic.
  • Ensure all filing systems, paper or electronic are kept up to date.
  • Scan or keep electronically all relevant paperwork as per TPC guidelines.
  • Ensure knowledge of staff and practitioner movements.
  • Receive and sort all deliveries into clinic.
  • Maintain all practitioner diaries on the private practice software.
  • Clean, tidy and maintain all areas of the Clinic.
  • Take and record all payments from patients or stock items
  • Maintain all stock and supply systems as well as all stock and supplies
