Who are ExamWorksUK?
We are a group of companies working in the legal, accident management and healthcare sectors currently looking for a Claims Handler to join us.
The Role
As a Claims Handler you will be responsible for ensuring your caseload of road traffic accidents are dealt with accordingly whether this be liaising with insurers, depots or clients to assist with recovery and storage of vehicle, damage repair, engineer inspections or assisting with providing a hire car to the client.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Gathering all evidence required to build a liability case against the Third Party and their insurers.
- Using knowledge and experience to make sound decisions.
- To be assertive and persistent when discussing a liability stance with both Third Parties and Third-Party Insurers
- Managing a high workload whilst remaining organised.
- Utilising our case management system to follow up and document the claim status.
- Ensuring all notes are clear and understandable for the other areas of the business to work with.
- Communicating with clients, the responsible party, their insurers, repairers, engineers and various other parties involved in the process.
- Constantly monitoring and identifying ways of enhancing services, processes and systems
- Dealing with peak periods without allowing standards to fall.
- Achieving set individual targets and assisting toward company targets.
- To provide a general administrative service to your management team.
- Any other duties reasonably requested by line manager.
Skills And Abilities
- Customer focused, with an empathetic approach.
- Professional in both written and telephone communication
- Good typing and PC skills
- Able to build Professional and relaxed relationships
Experience working is an office based environment is essential
Salary:
£22,500 per annum
Hours:
Monday - Friday 37.5 per week - 1 in 4 Saturdays paid in hours in lieu
