About Our Client:
Our client is a well-respected entity within the industrial and manufacturing industry, employing over 500 dedicated professionals.
The company is known for its high-quality products and has a solid reputation for maintaining excellent relationships with clients, suppliers, and employees.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage and collect debts from company debtors
- Evaluate new credit requests and conduct credit checks
- Manage sales ledger and ensure all transactions are up to date
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports
- Maintain contact with clients to ensure invoices are clear for payment
- Resolve queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices
- Check and post receipts to accounting systems
- Undertake account reconciliations as required
The Successful Applicant:
- A strong understanding of credit control procedures
- Excellent numerical skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- A relevant accounting or finance qualification
