Role Overview

To support an expanding affordable housing consultancy team that advises housing associations, local authorities, and for-profit registered providers to deliver asset management, stock rationalisation, support to new entrants in the social housing sector, governance,and local authority financial capacity.

Primary focus on data and analysis to support strategic asset management and stock rationalisation in the social housing sector, whilst providing a wider support role to the team.

The work will include the management of complex appraisal models to evaluate financial and non-financial asset performance through the use of excel and business analytics software.

The post holder will be expected to contribute analytical skills and techniques to consultancy projects across the team with a primary focus on strategic asset management.

There are opportunities to participate in the development of our market leading business analytics system.

This post will suit someone wanting to develop their career across a variety of different consultancy roles in a complex and challenging environment.

Experience in social housing is not essential but the role will suit someone with strong data and analyticalskills and an interest in affordable housing, asset management and regeneration.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and run financial models to analyse the performance of landlords' assets, against both financial and socioeconomic criteria
Review outputs and work with clients to develop asset strategy
Contribute to other services including analysis of the distribution of landlords' stock, development of value for money strategies, preparation for regulatory review, and business plan capacity reviews.
Assist with the development of asset management services, including improving the efficiency of modelling, developing partnerships with third party providers of information, and developing ideas for product extension.
Further develop our business analytics platform and improve the use of such reporting systems to both clients and internally within the team to improve efficiency.
Presentation of findings to clients through reporting and facetoface discussions.
Helping to win new business
Work with colleagues on providing affordable housing consultancy services to clients, as part of a wider team.
Work with other Affordable Housing teams and the wider Savills division to provide consultancy advice.
