ENGINEERING PORTFOLIO

Mark Allen is looking for an Online Editor to develop and take ownership of its digital content and social media across its brands - Eureka, New Electronics, Manufacturing Management and Machinery and MADE in Ireland.

This is a hybrid role, 3 days in our Dartford office, with a starting salary of up to £27,000 (DOE) plus benefits.

We will provide on-the-job training where required so you feel fully supported.

Key Responsibilities:

Be an integral part of developing and managing new digital initiatives to raise the websites' editorial and commercial profile.
Grow this role by researching and taking ownership of your own stories.
Write and edit news items across a range of exciting topics in this loved industry.
Manage the digital content
Demonstrate creativity and take ownership of the titles' social media profiles enhancing the brand profiles and increasing our exposure to a wider audience.
Liaise with the industry to source content
Collaborate with print editors to ensure synergy between digital and print content

Your transferrable skills:

Some experience producing and optimising web content or certainly a willingness to learn.
Knowing how to use individual social media platforms effectively to reach our target audience. We want you to enjoy utilising these platforms effectively.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
The ability to prioritise your work and multitask.
Attention to detail is a must.
