The key responsibilities of an Accounts Assistant will include:
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as balance sheets and income statements
- Perform routine calculations to produce analyses and reports as requested.
- Oversee and manage individual accounts
- Processing and reconsolidating customer invoices and payments received.
- Collect and enter data for various financial spreadsheets
- Adhere to the company's financial policies and procedures
The Successful Applicant:
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
- Previous experience in an Accounts Payable/ Accounts Receivable role
- Understanding of data privacy standards
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software
- Strong understanding of business principles and practices
- Attention to detail
- Organisational, planning and time management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
