Due to an increase in workload scheduled for 2023, we have an opportunity available for a Multi Trade Carpenter to join the team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a great group who have a genuine passion for what they do on a day to day basis, delivering quality workmanship, pleasing customers and building a strong reputation amongst the new build housing sector.

Essentially you will have experience working within new build construction and carrying out customer facing works within occupied properties.

You will be carrying out multi trade maintenance and finishing works, predominantly within occupied properties, however on occasion, unoccupied properties across both live and finished housing developments.

We are looking for someone who is predominantly of a carpentry background although experienced within the below secondary trades also.

Core Trade

• Carpentry
• Kitchen Fitting (Replacement units, doors, fittings, worktops)
• Internal/External Doors & Frames
• Skirtings & Architraves
• Stud Work
• Isolating and resolving creaks to floors & staircases.

Secondary Trades

• Painting & Decorating
• Plaster Patching
• Sealant Works
• Tiling

The role comes with the expectation and pressure of being able to replicate the same standard of finish as various different trades, some minor examples of this would be:1) Replacement skirting boards - You will be required to prepare, decorate and match or in some instances better the existing quality of finish.

2) Jacking up & re sealing a bath - You will need to be able to replicate or in some instances better the standard of finish of the original sealant work.

With this in mind, this position is best suited to someone who has a keen eye for detail, whether it be working within their core trade or an area which is relatively new to them.

Requirements:

• Hold a valid CSCS card
• Happy to travel to sites across the Midlands region, some occasions more than one site per day. (Positioned as close to home address as possible, maximum 1hr 30mins)
• Have access to your own van & tools.
