This is the job:


Joining the AA as
Head of Cost Management, you will play a key role in enhancing the way that the AA manages expenses across the business.


This role will be at the heart of defining and implementing a new approach to ensure the AA makes the best possible use of its money, time and people in fulfilling its strategic objectives.


What will I be doing?:


  • Playing a critical role in developing the Group Transformation function to lead the AA's strategic change
  • Developing and implementing an enterprisewide approach to cost management
  • Ensuring that the AA meets its cost management objectives
  • Developing analysis to better understand the AA's cost base and provide insight to support decision making on the allocation of resources across the business
  • Developing new cost and efficiency initiatives that can improve the AA's effectiveness
  • Partnering with AA business units in developing strong cost disciplines and implementing efficiency initiatives

What do I need?:


Capability, Knowledge and Experience:


  • Extensive business planning, strategy and business case development experience
  • Strong understanding of financial and business controls
  • Vast experience in developing and implementing cost controls an advantage
