We are looking for a passionate hospitality professional to join our vibrant leadership team, to create a fantastic atmosphere & experience for our guests.

There is a blend of pub joviality mixed with expert service skill.

Cornish hospitality to us is a friendly welcome, an unstuffy service, maximising guest interactions & sales opportunities with knowledge and passion.

A dedicated, detailed & active approach is essential.

The primary focus of the role will be all beverage areas. General management support and running the pub alongside the GM & assistant GM will also be key duties. Live & breath our culture. Be the hands-on, face of the business, striving to drive the business forward.

As well as overseeing the beverage strategy, the bar leader will coach, motivate & develop our servers, establish policy, be aware of industry trends, have a profit focused approach and a productive approach to working.

Success is a positive, kind, respectful & thoughtful leader. The leader will be a confident decision maker, show financial competence & be a solution-led manager.

Our little public house on the water's edge in Flushing, just a stones throw across the water from Falmouth. Open all day for drinks and food, Flushing is on the south coast of Cornwall.

Located right on the harbour front, it is the perfect place to relax, have a beer and watch the world float by.

Fire & smoke is at the heart & soul of our michelin guide pub.

We are able to make the most of what is already abundant on any particular day, whether that is from the local day boats or from the organic farm all but a mile up the hill.

Our provenance can be viewed as metres not miles.
