What will you be doing?:


  • Taking ownership of the deliverables of each iteration as well as ensuring the scope of the project/ deliverables is well understood
  • Effectively visualising and designing complex systems with good command over the relevant design patterns and concepts covering failover and resiliency
  • Developing and supporting the trade capture platform for Repo Trading Platform
  • Performing code reviews to ensure implemented functionality matches expectations and is in line with coding standards defined globally
  • Cocoordinating the Quality Assurance team and the larger IT group in delivery of implemented features to production
  • Interacting with front office users and operations for requirements/support
  • Assisting the investigation and troubleshooting of production issues
  • Playing an active role in mentoring/coaching/training and development of team members

What we're looking for:


  • Hands on experience on core Java Developer
  • Solid skills in Object Oriented Analysis and Design Concepts, Java, Relational Databases
  • Tech skills: Core Java, Restful services, Spring, Unix, Solace, Database
  • Working knowledge of middleware platforms (Solace, IBM MQ)

Skills that will help you in the role:

  • Significant experience developing high-performance software.
  • Skill in Test Driven Development, Continuous Delivery and System integration
  • Background in financial markets
