Then look no further - We're currently offering an opportunity for a Safeguarding Officer who can work part-time for 4 days in a School in the LS3 area.
The School plays a vital role in the educational landscape of Leeds and contributes to the development of a skilled workforce in the region.

Requirements:
- Enhanced child DBS on the update service or willingness to get one
- 2 recent professional references
- Committed, flexible, and enthusiastic
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Previous experience
Responsibilities:
- Implementing the school's safeguarding policy and procedures
- Encourage good practice by promoting and championing the safeguarding policy and procedures
- Respond appropriately to disclosures or concerns which relate to the wellbeing of a child or young person
- Communicate and interact effectively with adults children and young people
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and uptodate documentation on all cases of safeguarding and child protection
- Maintain confidentiality of pupil information
- Ensure the school's designated safeguarding lead teacher is regularly updated regarding all issues related to the safeguarding of individual children and young people
- Liaise with school staff in initiating multiagency referrals for children and young people
- Support the care of children and young people where their living arrangements are at risk of breakdown
