Starting Salary:
£38,969 - £42,501 dependent on skills & experience + an annual bonus of up to £4k.

Working Pattern:
Days (37.5 hours per week)

Location:

West Cumbria or Warrington - Flexible working and agile working available.


Senior Buyers are responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring all procurement activities are completed to the highest standard.


If successful, you will ensure that the company receives the best goods and services from suppliers while staying within budget.

You will also be responsible for making sure all procurement activities are completed on time and in line with company policies and procedures.


We have several interesting and challenging roles available to set the Supply Chain Function up for success in the coming years to meet the exciting work ahead of us.

You don't need to have experience in these areas to apply, if one or more of these roles interest you - we want to hear from you.

Join a Multi-Award Winning Supply Chain Management Team Delivering a Breadth of Requirements Covering Billions of External Spend.

The Supply Chain Function at Sellafield Ltd is responsible for the full commercial lifecycle delivery of circa £1.

8bn supply chain spend for annum across a breadth of categories found in very few organisations including:


  • Construction
  • Manufacturing
  • Plant and Equipment
  • Research and Development

  • Site Operations

Essential/Desirable Skills:

  • Working knowledge and practical experience of procurement/buying and contract management.
  • Experience of building effective internal business and supplier relationships.
  • Highly selfmotivated with thirst for knowledge and selfdevelopment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate clearly and succinctly.
