CNC Milling Operator Required
We have an exciting new opportunity with our well-established client, based in Clacton-On-Sea.

They are a world class engineering company who manufacture precision machined components for a variety of industries including but not limited to:
Medical, Electronic& Aerospace. They are the market leaders in the design and production in engineering and technological innovations.

Due to their on-going growth, they now require an experienced CNC Operator to join their team.

The successful CNC Operator will be a conscientious individual, with previous experience in machining, who takes pride in their work and products they produce.

This role would be suited to an experienced machinist with experience using multi-Axis.


CNC Milling Operator - Position Overview

  • Operate within the 5axis machine shop, using a variety of 5Axis vertical mills.
  • Working as part of a team to maximise output and efficiency throughout the shop.
  • Assigned to a machine(s) to operate safely, effectively, and efficiently, whilst maintaining precision, accuracy & quality always.
  • To consistently achieve and uphold the required output from the machine(s) to maintain schedule and achieve targeted despatch dates.
  • Be responsible for inprocess checks to Blueprint using a range of measuring equipment including metrology machines and gauges.
  • To carry out routine maintenance and housekeeping duties within their capability level or in the of case of difficulty or anticipated delay, advise the Senior Setter(s) / Team Leader.
  • To clean and deburr parts to customer specifications.
  • Boxing or packaging of components, when required, to customer specifications.
  • To carry out additional duties as requested by Senior Setter(s) / Team Leader
  • Machine to high standards of quality & precision

CNC Milling Operator - Position Requirements

  • Previous experience working in an engineering, production/manufacturing environment
  • Previous CNC Machining experience ideally with multi axis
  • Able to understand and interpret engineering drawings
  • Underlying knowledge of metrology equipment & analysis
  • Previous experience working in a high tolerance manufacturing environment
  • Professional & loyal to the organisation, taking pride in what you produce

CNC Milling Operator - Position Remuneration

  • Hourly Rate: £ £12 per hour
