As a core member of the faculty research team the Faculty Research Projects Officer will provide high quality support across a range of research priorities, including REF, researcher development and research support.

The Faculty Research Projects Officer will be a key member of the Faculty Research team supporting the Faculty Director of Research and Innovation, Associate Faculty Director of Operations and Faculty Research Manager to implement faculty research strategies and priorities.

Working with academic and professional services staff across the faculty and in central support teams the Faculty Research Projects Officer will use their initiative to develop and maintain processes and policies that contribute to an effective and efficient research support service.

Applicants must be educated to degree level (or equivalent qualifications/experience) and an understanding of the Research Excellence Framework and the University systems which support it is essential.
