With a production and manufacturing facility in Bromborough, Wirral and an engineering office based in Knaphill, Surrey, Deepsea Technologies UK provides both diver-less and diver assisted engineered technologies for the energy sector.

These technologies are bespoke designed, built and installed by Deepsea Technologies' team in some of the harshest offshore environments.

The company has over 30 years of experience in the design and delivery of pressure containing equipment and ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) tooling.

This includes well established products such and Taper-LokTM flanges and RetlockTM Diverless connection systems.

The businesses client base spans the world, with approximately half of its revenue coming from overseas contracts.

We are looking for a Junior Proposal Specialist to join our busy Sales Team to work on bids/proposals for current and new clients.

This is a new role


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supporting Sales Team with enquiries and requests from customers, potential customers, and other teams within the business
  • Support the drafting and submission of quotations and bids
  • Assist with the maintenance of records of pipeline activity, sales database and bid tracker for ongoing bids.
  • Assist with the submission of technical proposals
  • Provide day to day administrative support to the Sales Team such as taking accurate meeting minutes and actions during forecast and review meetings
  • Involved in prebid meetings with relevant departments to create a plan for obtaining costings/engineering requirements/client clarifications to provide technical and commercial proposals
  • Assist with the review of client contracts/T&Cs and compiling clarification logs
  • Communicate with internal departments i.e Projects/Finance regarding providing schedules/setting milestone payments/cashflow forecasts prior to issuing proposals to clients
  • Support the completion of client 'approved vendor list' (AVL) documents/and maintenance of AVL register
  • Any other reasonable activities that support the success of the business

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 3 A-Levels at A-C grade or equivalent vocational qualification in a business/sales related fie*ld
  • Strong communicator with the ability to multitask and prioritise work
  • Good team worker with the ability to build good relationships with multiple stakeholders
  • Previous experience working in a sales or administrative role would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of energy industries (oil / gas / renewables) would be useful but is not essential.
