The job requires and individual who is dynamic, is a hands-on sales person who can help drive sales through networking, engaging and consolidating high level contacts with International and local publishers who operate in the educational space, primarilyfocusing on K12 curriculum and ELT markets in the UK and internationally.

Description

  • Business development to publishers and educational institutions in the UK.
  • Capture and grow a portfolio of international and local publishers who appreciate the value of using the service to complement their digital book sales to schools and institutions
  • Promote the companies platform and services to schools and other relevant institutions
  • Secure a deep understanding of educational institutions and their needs and articulate valueadded solutions.
  • Engage and present the companies digital services to Clevel and relevant education stakeholders building new relationships and consolidating existing ones.
  • Coordinate with other Country Managers, Business Developers and staff to strengthen our global positioning with publishers and international school chains.

Profile

  • Strong experience in the educational publishing sector and a sound knowledge of how technology can be applied to classroom environments
  • At least 5 years' background as business development manager in solution/consultative selling in the education publishing sector and with a solid network of contacts within the education sector
  • Strong commercial and interpersonal skills to proactively build the company's presence in the UK and internationally
  • Ability to be a leader who can function effectively and independently with frequent travel
  • English speaking, Spanish and other EU languages is a plus but not a prerequisite.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multifunctional teams remotely through various communication channels.
  • A University degree.
  • Based in London.
