Borney UK is a leading supplier and manufacturer of large format print, signage, flags, banners and exhibition displays.

We are currently seeking a Print Production Operative to join our Huntingdon manufacturing operations.

In this role we are looking for a good general all rounder who is willing to put their hand at anything that is required.

Main duties will include, Print finishing, cutting, warehouse, pole manufacturing, picking, packing and dispatch. Development into the printing dept will be a natural progression if this is of interest.

The person in this role will have good common sense, good communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and within a friendly team.

The job is a physical role and requires Manual handling and good physical fitness as well as being on your feet all day.

This would be an excellent opportunity for a school leaver with the right aptitude who is looking to get into the printing industry.

Essential Functions:

• Print Finishing
• Cutting materials, eyeleting, folding and packing.
• Assisting of goods in, unloading boxes & pallets and putting into stock.
• Assists with stock control and stock levels.
• Assists with the assembly of finished goods including pole manufacturing.
• Assists with the dispatch of goods using DPD and Fedex shipping Software (training will be given).
• Working closely with the Operations Manager to ensure work schedules are met.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; or equivalent experience of (3) three to (5) years with a stable work history.
• Ability to read proof spec sheets and machine specifications.
• Knowledge of general machinery operation (i.e., forklift operation would be advantageous.).
• Good communication skills (verbal & written).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
