Job Overview
To provide support and assistance to the Business Development Manager. This is also an opportunity for someone to develop a career within our Business Development team at IM Group. The employee will be enrolled on a Level 3 Business Administration course (likely to last 12-15 months).
Key Responsibilities
- Working closely with Business Development Managers and providing administrative and basic project support to a busy Business Development team.
- Travelling to suppliers across the UK as well as travel to China and other countries as part of the role (a vehicle will be provided for business use as and when required).
- Undertake a range of clerical duties including filing, photocopying and scanning
- Getting involved in projects such as new product development
- Organising and arranging shipment of goods overseas
- Working with new franchise partners in due course
- Helping to expand Secondline parts sourced from China and grow annual turnover
- Growing Accessory range across each franchise
- Assisting with Fleet projects and Homologation team
- Maintaining existing Supplier relationships and creating new ones
- Organising testfits and signoffs of new products
- Full commitment to the apprenticeship programme
Competencies/Skills Required:
- Some experience of working in a parts or logistics environment (desired)
- Happy to communicate with people face to face and over the phone (essential)
- Full UK licence (essential)

- Enthusiastic and excellent interpersonal skills
- Flexible and proactive approach
- The ability to work well as part of a team
- Willing to travel within the UK and internationally
- Professionally presented and smart in appearance

From £18,000.00 per year
