Job Description The business offers a cutting-edge technology platform alongside expert consultants, with a highly specialized regulatory focus. We curate regulations for your business and purpose, and help you turn compliance into a competitive differentiator.


You will be focused on conducting research into companies and corporate activities in the context of national and multilateral sanctions for ISS's Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) research and investment products.

Besides conducting research oncompanies and relevant corporate activities you will independently and in collaboration with the rest of the team, draft research reports on these companies, and in general contribute to clients having up-to-date regulations and compliance.


Your duties and responsibilities:

  • Write research reports on these companies' activities. These research reports can be of varying lengths and incorporate different degrees of detail
  • Participate in and contribute to team processes focused on strengthening our ESG RS product offering.

Who Fits The Bill:


  • Bachelor level degree, preferably on a topic related to political science, international relations, or conflict studies.
  • Previous experience or education related to national or international sanctions, international law or international politics are highly desirable.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Previous research experience.
  • Solid writing and research skills, including the ability to produce basic analysis.
  • Broad interest in the business and financial world
  • Interest in ESG, responsible investment, and sustainability is desirable.
