Senior Public Relations Officer - London, United Kingdom - European Energy Exchange AG

Your tasks:

Together with our business experts and in line with our strategy, you will manage the internal and external communication for our asset class "Power".

In this role, you'll be engaged in the strategic product marketing and communication for this specific asset class.

As part of the Public Relations team, you will also handle all inquiries from the press and the public, in particular, those related to the power market, and you will be the spokesperson for relevant media.

Your task will be to develop strong stories and narratives, to actively place business topics about the energy market with journalists and key media players - generally speaking, you will create content for the EEX Group internal and external communication channels (e.g., press releases, company texts, articles, social media posts).

You will work in close cooperation with our experts in Marketing, Social Media and Online Marketing to bring your ideas to fruition.

Finally, we strongly encourage you to further develop existing formats and implement new communicative approaches and ideas.

You will bring along:

• A degree in journalism or media/communications
• Several years of working experience in product marketing and communication with a focus on power or related markets
• Profound knowledge and practical experience in developing and implementing a marketing strategy within a larger company or international group are preferred
• Excellent communication skills in English (additional language(s) welcome)
• Ability to deliver excellent results with short time scales and/or under time pressure
• A cooperative personality and a problemsolving attitude
