Job description
As part of National Business Development and Marketing, we are looking for a highly motivated and proactive Events Coordinator to help plan, organise and execute a range of events across the Midlands (including Cheltenham and occasionally, Manchester) that will help us grow and engage with our clients, targets, and other key contacts.
The successful applicant will be highly organised, proactive and possess the ability to work well under pressure. Being able to communicate at all levels with confidence is essential, along with a professional telephone manner. You will need to have outstanding people skills and the ability to build strong working relationships.
Responsibilities
- Support the Clients & Markets Manager in planning, organising, and executing a range of events, including conferences, seminars, webinars, exhibitions, and client care events.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including event venues, suppliers, work referrers, clients, and targets.
- Coordinate event logistics, including venue sourcing, catering, event set up (room layout, chairs, speaker stands etc.), AV equipment, name badges/delegate packs and transport.
- Ensure all events are delivered within set budgets and meet the firm's quality standards.
- Develop and maintain event briefs, run sheets, and postevent feedback reports.
- Assist with the management of event registration processes, including online registration systems and the effective management of marketing/guest lists on Excel/CRM.
- Provide onsite support at events, including set up, managing registrations, and assisting with other onsite logistics as required.
- Support with general administrative tasks as and when required.

Qualifications/experience
- Some experience in an events administration role is highly desirable.
- Previous experience working in professional services is ideal.
- Experienced with Microsoft Office is essential.
- Experienced of using a CRM system is desirable.
