The company is located in Kingston upon Thames and is renowned for delivering quality services to a wide range of clients.
The Senior Payroll Administrator (HYBRID) role involves:Key Responsibilities and accountabilities
- Manage portfolio of Payrolls (monthly fortnight and weekly)
- Be able to processes payrolls from start to finish and provide support and advice to clients
- Liaise with clients and third parties
- Dealing with transfers of clients in and out of the business
- Setting up and closing PAYE schemes
- Resolving payroll issues and HMRC queries for clients
- Work with the team to improve and develop the payroll department
- To assist the team to make sure all work is completed
- Pension admin management for clients
- Ad hoc duties as required
Skills required:
- Excellent payroll skills (manual calculations and in depth understanding)
- Excellent Communication skills
- Flexible approach to working
- Organised with strong time management skills
- Common sense and a positive can do attitude
- Team Player
The Successful Applicant:
- Previous experience of managing multiple pay periods across several payrolls (idelaly from a Payroll Bureau or Accountancy practice background but not essential)
- Proficiency in payroll software (ideally Xero / Brightpay /Surepay / STAR / IRIS)
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent knowledge of payroll tax legislation
