Leader Education, part of The Leader Group, is working in partnership with an independent education and childcare provider to recruit an Executive Headteacher to oversee multiple sites in the Lincolnshire area.
Our client is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, creative, dynamic and experienced Senior Leader to lead, inspire, improve and develop a team of committed education professionals.
As the successful Head Teacher, you will be responsible for leading and managing schools that cater for pupils with SEMH and associated challenging behaviours.
You will be responsible for:
- supervising, supporting and developing teaching and leadership staff
- Quality Assurance and Governance of the school with the objective of improving school performance, including Ofsted rating
- Ensuring that the school is compliant with statutory regulation and operates in line with relevant Education Acts
- Ensure that all measures are in place and preparation effectively undertaken to meet regulatory inspections.
- Provide professional supervision to Teaching staff monthly or more frequently, dependant on requirements.
- Oversee all matters in relation to safeguarding children within the school, ensuring that all relevant third parties are involved as appropriate and that matters are dealt with in line with company policies and procedures and statutory requirements
- Take the lead for the School Improvement strategy across by overseeing the work of the teaching staff and, report to the head of education on the performance of the school.
- To carry out other duties reasonably requested, which fall within the remit of the role and the capabilities of the Head Teacher.
YOU:
You must be a qualified Teacher QTS/PGCE
Experienced leader - Headteacher/Executive Headteacher or School Improvement
Experience of working in an independent SEND school and knowledge of the Independent School Standards
Up to date with current safeguarding and Ofsted frameworks
Experience of dealing with key stakeholders and LA commissioners
Manage schools budgets effectively
Increase pupil enrolement numbers
Excellent Behaviour Management skills
Exceptional leadership skills
An outstanding mentor and role model
PACKAGE:
Salary £75k - £80k plus bonus
Relocation package available if required
