The Role


The role of
Senior Manager - Guest Entertainment Programmeleads, drives and ensures the delivery of our onboard guest experience for entertainment and leisure is best in the industry.

We will do this through dynamic guest programme management,matching and tailoring our booked acts to meet our guest expectations and brand vision.


You will:

  • Actively participate in driving efficiencies and improvements across the department with endtoend guest experience in mind.
  • Work closely with the P&O Cruises Guest Experience and Brand/Product team to deliver, exceed and excite our Guest Entertainment and Leisure Programme whilst also identifying opportunities to further delight our guests through constantly refreshing and updatingour programmes ensuring guests are offered innovative and interesting activities
  • Operationalise the brand direction and product specifications within budget and on time.
  • Lead and develop the capability of on board and shore Entertainment, Production, Technical and Booking teams to execute and deliver extraordinary travel experiences across multiple guest touch points.
  • Embed new, and existing Leisure activities and Entertainment talent, ensuring that P&O Cruises maintains its position and determination to be Britain's no1 Holiday Choice.


Our role categories range from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President) so you can clearly see internal development opportunities.


This role is a CUK06 and is offered on a full time basis, with at least two days based in our Southampton office.


About You

Alongside bringing these to the role, you'll also need:


  • Management experience in dynamic large scale operational environment across multiple disciplines (travel, tourism, cruise, retail, entertainment)
  • Proven ability to drive improvements in team performance, managing diverse teams, developing capability, and coaching talent across diverse specialisms
  • The ability to Facilitate continuous improvement and operationalise brand and product specifications
  • Excellent organisational, communication and planning skills
  • Ability to manage remote workforce (extensive travel and 'on call' response is required)
