Residential Property Solicitor/Fee Earner

This role will include freehold, leasehold (including extensions/enfranchisement), right to buy, plots. Must be CQS trained with experience of working within the parameters of the CQS. Some light commercial experience desirable, eg lease renewals - but not essential.


Duties:


  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients regarding residential property matters
  • Handle all aspects of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, and leases
  • Draft and review legal documents such as contracts, agreements, and deeds
  • Conduct property searches and investigations to ensure clear title and identify any potential issues or risks
  • Liaise with clients, real estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties involved in the transaction
  • Negotiate terms and conditions on behalf of clients
  • Attend meetings, hearings, and closings related to residential property transactions
  • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends

Qualifications:

  • Qualified solicitor with a focus on residential property law
  • Strong knowledge of property law and conveyancing processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously
  • Proven experience in handling residential property transactions from start to finish
  • Familiarity with relevant legal software and technology
