Following the Trusts announcement Solihull is opening a new Minor Injuries unit from summer 2023 we now to recruit a team to support the delivery of first class care to our patients across Birmingham and Solihull.

Working on the front door of a Minor Injuries Unit is not for everyone. It is pressured, demanding and comes with challenging behaviours as people are often scared or injured.

As the first point of contact you will be accountable for booking patients into the unit using the PAS system, ensuring all patient details are correct and updated on the system.

Undertake all the administrative and clerical duties to support the functioning of the department and the area is maintained to a high standard.

With that you will have excellent communications skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.

As a key member of this team, you will see a varied workload, which can be challenging however being able to multitask in an efficient manner whilst maintaining a caring and helpful attitude underpins everything you do to make a difference to your team and the patients that rely on us to care for them.

The shift pattern is 4 days on 4 days off and the hours are 0800 am pm and 1600pm - 2200pm, this does include weekends and bank holidays
