    Catering Assistant - Northern Counties School (Maternity Cover - 12 months)

    The Role

    We currently havea vacancyfor a Catering Assistant to join our school kitchen staff. Working as part of a small team you will assist in the food preparation, service, and cleaning. The successful candidate will have experience of working in a kitchen. A current Food Hygiene qualification is essential.

    The hours are 16 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks). This is a temporary post for 12 months.

    Salary amounts quoted are from 1 September to 31 August and therefore, if you commence employment part way through the academic year, they will be subject to an equated salary adjustment.

The amendments to the Exceptions Order , 2020 & 2023) provide that certain spent convictions and cautions are 'protected' and are not subject to disclosure to employers, and cannot be taken into account.
