Nursery Nurse Role

The School Setting


This role is ideal for a nursery nurse who is passionate about cultivating a rich and stimulating environment that develops the early learner.

**Nursery Nurse Role

  • Job Responsibilities*
  • Contribute and participate to a stimulating environment developing positive relationships that foster a sense of belonging
  • Be able to engage learners and supporting their needs; help learners stay on task during the lesson or activity and support the learner's ability to take risks and actively explore
  • Support the social and emotional development of pupils, reporting any issues when required
  • Ensuring the child is supervised on a constant basis during school hours
  • Contribute to monitoring and observations, providing feed back to the class teacher and other professionals

Experience, Training & Qualifications

  • Desirable, Montessori experience
  • Good understanding of EYFS curriculum
  • First aid training
  • Previous experience working in a UK school or Nursery
  • Holds CACHE or
    NVQ Level 2 or 3 or a degree in Childcare/Early Childcare
