As a Logistics Operative within St John Ambulance, you will assist in the recovery, assessment, recording, picking & packing, storing, dispatching and transportation of St John Ambulance assets and consumables, in line with processes and policies.

You will also support the process of disposing of unserviceable items in a safe and legal manner. You will play an important role in the overall day-to-day activity carried out by the Logistics function and work in partnership with a diverse group of volunteers and employed teams

About You:


  • UK driving licence at B1 level with no penalty points
  • Able to work to strict operational guidance and procedures
  • Physically able to carry out manual work
  • Ability to prioritise effectively
  • Good interpersonal skills

About The Role:


  • Carry out relevant weekly stock checks out in your allocated ambulance hubs including medical gas, medicines, consumables, LPG to ensure stock is kept at agreed levels
  • Support the movement of equipment and vehicles between ambulance hubs in line with operational demand
  • Undertake hub stock rotation process
  • Undertake housekeeping in the logistics areas is maintained to the required standard
