Integration Architect

Integration Architect required for a global research firm


A research firm is seeking a highly skilled Integration Architect who has an initial focus on Microservices and data pipelines, leveraging AWS serverless services.


As an Integration Architect, you will need to have the ability to coach and guide colleagues to successfully implement complex integration solutions.

As an Integration Architect you will be expected to work across the Technology portfolio integrating onlinepayments and event management with their data products to provide interactions with supporters, which can then be published to future CRM systems and Marketing platforms like Salesforce & Adobe Campaign.


In terms of responsibilities:

  • Lead the definition of integration and data migration approaches including establishing patterns, standards, and best practices in collaboration with engineers. Develop and maintain guidance material and working examples to support engineers.
  • Promote the adoption of integration approaches through coaching and working with engineers in product teams.
  • Lead the design of complicated, complex, or novel integration solutions. Support teams in planning, designing, and executing data migration initiatives
  • Work with the QA Engineering team to define testing and quality assurance standards and practices for integration solutions.
  • Play an active and leading role in the technology choices

Including:

  • Selection of integration and data migration tools/services/frameworks
  • Selection of thirdparty software (SAAS and COTS) to ensure compatibility with our integration and migration approaches

In terms of essential skills:

Essential:

  • Up to date and deep understanding of established and emerging trends in integration platforms and approaches across multiple integration styles (batch processing, ETL, messagebased, eventbased, apidriven, microservices)
  • Demonstrable experience of leading software engineering teams (at least 5 people), including coaching engineering staff and improving their skills
  • Demonstrable handson experience of implementing AWS services to develop backend components and data pipelines: AWS Lambda, SQS, EventBridge, Glue, Athena etc.
This Integration Architect role is based in London however this role is Fully Remote
