Are you a hands-on PPC specialist who wants full control over the paid media strategy for a growing business? The company specialises in B2B events and are focused on the digital and tech industry.

You'll be the go-to specialist for all paid Google ads and paid social media campaigns, amongst other paid ads, from strategy through to implementation, through to analysis.


The Job...


As Senior Paid Media Executive you'll be reporting directly into the Marketing Manager and you'll control everything to do with paid media in the business.

It'll be up to you to create innovative campaigns (primarily paid Google Ads) to drive traffic and high quality leads across a range of online web assets.


You'll be responsible for:


  • Developing and managing paid media campaigns across all platforms, including Google, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other search and display platforms.
  • Growing and managing existing PPC accounts, as well as identifying new platforms.
  • Carrying out day to day optimisation and management of campaigns.
  • Gathering campaign data and producing reports, interpreting results to create and deliver meaningful analytics and reporting.
  • Producing and reviewing weekly, monthly, and campaignspecific, performance reports using tools including Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Supermetrics and Data Studio.
  • Regular competitor analysis and keyword audits, research and analysis.
  • Creating and managing budgets for campaigns.
  • Regular reporting of campaign performance and offering up suggestions for improvements in order to hit the KPIs and OKRs.
  • Working collaboratively with graphic designers to create ad assets and working closely with the inhouse content manager to help improve your copy and content for each campaign.

About You...
The Senior Paid Media Executive will need to have strong experience across Google Ads and Google Analytics.

You'll need to be working hands-on every day with paid campaigns and have a desire to further your development within the paid media specialism.

They'll also be elements of paid social marketing for you to get stuck into, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.


Here's some of the key experience you'll need to demonstrate:

  • Proven ability to work in the PPC, paid search and paid display marketing disciplines. 2-3 years of doing only PPC activities would be ideal.
  • B2B marketing experience.
  • The ability to multitask across numerous complex paid media projects with varied deadlines.
  • Previous budget responsibility.
  • Strong attention to detail (you'll be writing the copy for your paid campaigns) and abilities to work collaboratively with other departments.

The Company...


This Senior Paid Media Executive role is with an event awards specialist, with a vast range of assets across the digital awards space.

They need strong leads to feed their sales team - those leads will primarily come via your high quality paid media campaigns.


In addition to an attractive salary of up to £32k DOE, the company also adopts a hybrid working model, 3 days a week in their Rawtenstall office (generally Monday, Wednesday and Thursday) and 2 days from home.

Normal hours or work are Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4.30pm.
