Head of Wills and Probate and the wider Fishers Solicitors team

Jayne Parsons - Associate and head of Wills and Probate

Our Wills and Probate team is one of our busiest departments and we are looking to grow it with the help of an apprentice administrator.


About the role

Main Responsibilities

  • Scanning and distributing incoming post;
  • To prepare post including franking and enclosures for dispatch and to be responsible for ensuring that all outgoing post is correctly addressed and delivered to reception in time for dispatch;
  • To deal with incoming telephone enquiries for the department
  • To create new appointment packs
  • To create client care packs for new clients
  • Assisting fee earners and secretaries with photocopying large amounts of documents;
  • To ensure the confidentiality of all the firm's and clients' documentation and information;
  • To comply with the terms of the Office Manual and any other reasonable request that may be made by the Head of Department or another Partner.

The post holder may be required to perform any reasonable tasks commensurate with the role and level of responsibility at the request of the Directors.


Skills, Qualifications and experience:


  • Experience of working in administrative role desirable
  • A highly organised approach and the ability to prioritise;
  • A high level of attention to detail;
  • A can do attitude;
  • An ability to work well as part of a team as well as independently;
  • Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written);
