Crown Highways are a specialist highways contractor providing Civil Engineering, Lighting & Electrical services across the UK.This Supervisory role is to support the Technology and Lighting teams across the UK on exciting new projects from major infrastructure projects to LED retrofit schemes.
- Line Management of all site resources including supply chain.
- Site Management and onsite liaison with clients.
- Plan and program works onsite.
- Ensure works are completed in line with Risk Assessments and Method Statements from the Crown Highways H&S Management System.
- Ensure works are carried out to appropriate standards, compliant with all relevant Designs
- Manage interface with traffic management contractors, other contractors and Client to ensure smooth delivery.
- Manage appointed subcontractors.
- Day to day management of high level scheme programme to ensure works are delivered to programme and within budget.
- Undertake site safety visits, inspections and deliver inductions and tool box talks.
- Ensure that ITPs are completed for each individual scheme inclusive of photographs and client signatures.
- Ensure site records are completed and passed to contracts manager for filing.
- Attend weekly site programming meetings with the client as and when required.
- Identifying risks and problems onsite with the ability to provide proactive solution's.
- Mitigate risk in all aspects of the role and consider its use in a positive manner
- Promote Near Miss reporting.
- Support the Contracts Manager / Operations Manager in tasks required.
- Ensure all plant checks are completed, support Transport department to minimise vehicle Damage.
Salary:
£150.00-£180.00 per day
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- Day shift
- Holidays
- Night shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
