The role is a fixed term maternity cover position for a minimum of 12 months

Torus are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Co-ordinator to join our team within Compliance, Asset Management.


As a key member of the Compliance team, the Commercial co-ordinator will take responsibility for delivering a highly professional service that actively manages and ensures our commercial assets across theTorus portfolio remain compliant with all statutory,regulatory and corporate requirements.

With around 40,000 homes and 74,000 customers, Torus is the biggest provider of affordable homes in the North West.

Torus also manage a number of commercial units and shops and this role is an important one which ensures these units are effectively managedand maintained in line with regulatory compliance requirements.


To be successful in the role you will need excellent knowledge of compliance management systems and the continual development of an asset database.

You will have strong IT skills and be able to analyse data effectively, report on trend and ensure that KPIsare achieved.


You will be an effective communicator at all levels, with strong project management skills, experience of managing contractor performance and demonstrate a strong customer focus.


The role holder will support the complex building manager and contribute to policy and procedure setting, specification and process reviews and development of the overall service offer and will ensure that all programmes remain fully compliant at all stages.

They will proactively pursue compliance processes improvements and use audit inspections, business intelligence data and reporting to drive improvements and provide greater levels of assurance.


Excellent knowledge of compliance areas and the effective implementation of data collection activities, reporting, record keeping, contract management, repair and maintenance activities and the provision of accurate and timely information for stakeholderswill always be expected.


An effective communicator, you willensure that stakeholders are kept informed and that programmes are delivered on time and to budget.

Your effective contractor management skills will ensure that works are conducted to standard and within KPIs.


The role holder will scrutinise processes and work activities and ensure our assets always remain safe and comply with legislative and corporate policy requirements.

They will implement service delivery improvements and support the management team in theeffective, meaningful and timely reporting of audit results against standards.

The post will be based in Warrington but travel to our other locations will be required
