Finance Manager

Location:
Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire


Salary:
£38,000 to £40,000 per annum


Employment type:
Full-time, Permanent


Our well-established, family owned client is looking for a Finance Manager to join their friendly team This is an exciting opportunity to work in the distribution industry for a successful company based in Welwyn Garden City.

Are you looking for a step up into a supervisory role, or are you already an experienced, hands on manager?


Your main responsibilities:


  • Managing the Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and general Financial procedures
  • Supervising a team of flexible and hands on approach
  • Preparation of Management Accounts
  • Monthly P&L, balance sheet and bank reconciliations
  • GBP, USD & EUR
  • Prepare and submission of VAT returns
  • Assist with ad hoc projects, including preparation of management information

Your skills and attributes:


  • Part-Qualified/Qualified would be desirable
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Strong IT skills particularly Excel (VLOOKUPS, Pivot tables)
  • Passionate, driven team player who can lead a successful team
  • No industry experience necessary, however knowledge of stock would be desirable
