Saturday Rental Receptionist - Part Time
Based Ashford, Kent

8.5 hours per week - Every Saturday 8:00am - 5:30pm with 1 hour unpaid lunch break

About the Role

Objectives:

Main Duties, Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

To book vehicles in and out of the computerised ProHire software system (training will be provided), ensuring that hirers are qualified as to their suitability to hire;
To safely and efficiently advise hirers in the use and controls of the vehicle/equipment being hired;
To look for opportunities to promote and sell other services to customers
To help with general admin and other duties as and when required

Personal Characteristics

Friendly and approachable character with good communication and customer service skills;
Ability to work under pressure, and alone if necessary;
A helpful nature and a willingness to sort out customers' requirements;
Enthusiastic and responsible attitude;
Common sense;
Confidence to take decisions;
Willingness to learn and to assist others without waiting to be asked.
