We are looking for a part-time Nursing Associate to join our friendly nursing team. You will be caring, enthusiastic and keen to work as part of a dedicated team in a supportive environment.This is a permanent part-time position 12-16 hours per week, Thursdays and Fridays, salary dependant on experience
Cricklade Surgery is a well established rural, single handed, dispensing Practice with a patient list size of 3,300.
Alongside our GPs we have dedicated nursing, dispensary and admin/reception teams.
Our ethos is very much about providing the best possible care to our patients and being supportive and caring towards our staff.
In addition to the above teams we also have additional clinical support from Paramedics, Clinical Pharmacists and Social Prescribers.We are a SystmOne practice, rated good by CQC. Our patient satisfaction survey has been one of the highest in Wiltshire and 99% of our patients rated us extremely likely or likely to recommend us to friends and family
The main role of the Nursing Associate is to support the registered nurses in providing a high quality, compassionate nursing service to our patients.
Initially the main duties will include phlebotomy, blood pressure monitoring, ECGs, wound care/dressings, vaccinations (eg flu, B12), assisting with minor surgery, processing samples, acting as a chaperone along with any admin duties to support the nursing team.
