Teaching Fellow in Music Technology:


Are you an academic with proven abilities to carry out teaching in the area of music technology? Are you passionate about delivering an exceptional student experience to students in a research-intensive Russell Group University?


The School of Music has dedicated music technology resources including studios for sound recording, software development and computer-music composition, computer clusters, and access to a wide range of specialist software and recording equipment.

Music technology is part of the core of our specialist BSc Music, Multimedia and Electronics programme (run in collaboration with the School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering), and students on our other undergraduate degree courses can choose to study music technology at all levels.

You will provide effective and innovative research-led teaching in the theory, contexts and practice of music technology.

You will be expected to undertake the normal range of duties that arises in connection with the teaching of undergraduate modules - including lecturing, seminar and tutorial delivery, project supervision and assessment - contributing to existing modules in your specialist field, and working both independently and in collaboration with established staff and postgraduate researcher teaching assistants.
