HR Advisor
Reporting to European HR Manager, this position will provide hands on advice to the Scottish based sides (Irvine, Glasgow and Cumbernauld), whilst working closely with the rest of the European HR Team to provide support to all UK sites.
Role Requirements
- The HR Advisor is responsible for performing HRrelated duties on a professional level supporting the European HR Manager.
- Providing support and guidance to the HR Assistant.
- This position carries out responsibilities in the functional areas: employee relations, recruitment and onboarding, policy implementation, performance management, employment law compliance, benefits administration and training.
- The role will support all locations across the UK; Irvine, Cumbernauld, Glasgow, Manchester and Sheffield.
- The role will be located in Irvine, with weekly visits to the Glasgow and Cumbernauld sites. There will also be periodic visits required to the other UK sites.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the region with all HR & People related activities with an on site presence when required.
- Responsible for end to end recruitment within the Region.
- First port of call for employee requests and queries.
- Ensure the European HR Manager is kept up to date with key activities and ER cases.
- Supporting, advising and coaching Managers and Supervisors when dealing with ER matters.
- Performing benefit administration, including change reporting, approving invoices for payment and communicating benefits information to employees.
- Facilitates or provides training (including orientation) to the workforce.
- Maintains human resource system records and compiles KPI reports.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements/Qualifications
- 3 years human resource experience, ideally at Advisor level
- CIPD qualification desirable
- Experience in the manufacturing industry desirable
- Experience in all aspects of payroll and Time & Attendance systems (Kronos knowledge would be advantageous)
- Strong IT skills
- Ability to travel to our UK sites is essential
